Many thanks to Cotswold Outdoors for their generous support over the years. Cotswold Outdoors have kindly provided the Silver Stars with updated "Team Kit" again this year, right down to our shoes!
Northface Down Jacket
Extremely good for cold weather when talking down students in the middle of the parachute landing area. The wind chill factor in the middle of an airfield can sometimes drop the temperature to as little as -5 degrees. The team also love the fact that you can put the whole jacket in one pocket for a great cushion when driving back from a long day after a parachute display in the team vehicle whilst getting their heads down.
Berghaus Fleece Polartec Classic 300
Probably the best fleece we could have for the team. Keeps you warm without the weight, very breathable and even has a water repellent surface that sheds rain and snow. Also, being a Berghaus fleece it is very durable and dries quickly. Lance Corporal Clark has even skydived in the winter in -20 degrees from 13,000 feet in his Fleece and says "Awesome"
Solomon XAcomop2 Trainers
This is one of the top professional adventure race trainers. They have superb cushioning with excellent features like the speed lacing. Very light but durable and breathable.
Craghoppers Kiwi Zip-Off Trousers
Great trousers, because we are mostly outside in all weather conditions and these trousers keep you warm and dry. They have great features, like drying extremely quickly and excellent UPF rating 30+. Also great for the summer months as you can just zip off the bottoms.
The team getting ready to do a jump. Although Cotswold Outdoors did not supply the jump suits, they kindly arranged to have the sponsor logos sewn on.
